July 2020 Update
Hi everyone. We hope you are all safe and well. As you are no doubt aware, the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions mean the Club remains closed for dog training until further notice. We are continuously checking updates to assess when training can resume and we will notify our Members and Friends as soon as possible if and when a date is agreed. We ask for your continued patience.
At this stage, the date remains unclear. But we will resume one day again, that’s for sure, and we are all very much looking forward to it!
In the interim, we have been planning how training will resume once restrictions are eased. Without a doubt, the Club will need to comply with any restrictions that remain in place and this may mean changes to how we operate.
We are mapping this all out at the moment and again will keep you informed as and when we can, and before any training resumes.
Membership Renewal Reminder
Current Members should have received a Membership Renewal notice in the post. Understanding the disruption to our membership and thereby the continued demand for our services is critical to the planning for resumption of training.
Accordingly, we invite you to renew your membership as soon as possible but don’t forget that a fully completed renewal form and evidence of vaccination MUST either be emailed to the Club or returned by post.
If you haven’t received your Membership Renewal Form you can download a PDF copy of it from the Club website.
Please note: Members who joined the Club in February or March 2020 are not required to renew their memberships as these have been extended until June 2021.
Training in Tough Times
This has been a difficult time for many. We are so very grateful that COVID-19 has not been a threat to our dogs, and that on the contrary, our dogs have continued to provide us comfort.
Keeping our dogs' training up may have been difficult for many, socialising them may have been even more challenging. We hope that our Facebook posts and the plethora of online tools and resources available have helped.
We can put a pause on many things but not the timing of growth of puppies, and we hope that you’ve been able to do what you can, to teach and socialise your new family members in particular during this precious stage. Stay safe everyone and hopefully, we will see you soon. Please contact us if you have any questions about the status of training or your Membership Renewal.
