A General Meeting of the Club will be held on SUNDAY 19th FEBRUARY 2017 at the Training Grounds in Centennial Park, commencing at 9.45am.

End of Training 2016, Dates for 2017 (November 2016)

Santa with SheltiesThe Club's end of year break-up will be held on Sunday 4th December. We are planning to run shortened (half hour) classes for all puppies and adult dogs from 9 to 9:30am (with your usual instructors), followed by Fun Day activities from 9.30 to 11am, including Annual Trophy presentations; Fancy Dress, Waggliest Tail and Good-o Eating competitions; and the Raffle Hampers draw.

There will be a free BBQ and cold drinks available from 8.30am. And it's even rumoured Santa will be visiting for photo opportunities and to hand out treats to good dogs.

Please note: There are NO fees for the morning, but ALL dogs and puppies must go over the Inspection Line, open from 8:30 to 9am, before attending classes or taking part in the Fun Day competitions. There will also be Lucky Ticket draws throughtout the morning, with tickets handed out at the Inspection Line.

Also, for insurance purposes, only registered Club Members can take part in the training classes and Fun Day competitions.

President's Final Report (October 2016)

This has been my final year as President as I am relocating up the north coast at the end of the year. I would like to thank everyone for the privilege of being Club President. I would like to thank the hardworking Committee for all their work and welcome the incoming Committee and President who I am sure will be supported and assisted by all Club Members.

Next Training Date

Sunday 4th February 2018

Following the Club's season-ending Fun Day on 3rd December, our Helpers and Instructors are now having a well-earned break for the break festive season and summer holidays.

Training resumes at the Club on Sunday, 4th February 2018, which will be a Puppy Joiner our 6-week Puppy Classes (for dogs aged under 6 months). Our first Adult Dog Joiner for 2018 for the Club's Responsible Dog Ownership Course (for dogs 6 months and older) will be on Sunday, 11th February.

Note: Due to the summer heat and humidity, Training and Registration start times are scheduled earlier from the 4th February until the end of Daylight Saving - please see the Training Times page on the Club website for details.

We wish all our Members, their families and friends, and of course, their dogs, a safe and happy holiday. We look forward to seeing you again in the new year!
