Club Memberships due for Renewal (July 2017)

During the Club's recent two-week break for the Queen's Birthday and Helpers' Winter Break, Club Members should have received a copy of the June edition of the Club newsletter, PawPrints. Attached to the June PawPrints is a Membership Renewal form. If you joined the Club before 1st May 2017, then your membership was due for renewal on or before 30th June 2017.

Membership renewal is only $10 to gain access to another 12 months of dog training. If you do not renew your membership then you won't be able to attend training from 1st July onwards.

To renew your membership, please complete the renewal form on the back of the June PawPrints and return it to the Club, with your payment and a copy of your dog's current vaccination certificate. If you have misplaced your PawPrints, then you can download a Membership Renewal Form from the Club website.

Committee Proposal to Replace Trailer with a Van (May 2017)

At Club’s General Meeting (GM) to be held on May 14th 2017, the Club Committee is putting forward a motion to replace the Club's existing damaged trailer with an outfitted van (please see Notice of GM Sunday 14th May 2017).
 
A proposal document has been prepared to highlight the benefits and costs involved with either purchasing a van, or replacing the old trailer with a new trailer, and to allow Club Members to make an informed decision on the proposal at the GM.

Daylight Saving Ends/Class Times Change (April 2017)

Daylight Saving Times ends on Sunday 2nd April, which means clocks are set back one hour AND you get an extra hour's sleep in before dog training on Sunday morning!alarm clock

With the warmer months behind us, times will also be changing for the Club's Responsible Dog Ownership (RDO) Course and Puppy Classes.

New Start Times for RDO & Puppy Classes (February 2017)

Luna in the water bowlDue to the extreme temperatures of the past couple of weekends, and the possibility of further heat waves during the remaining months of summer and into early autumn, the Club has decided start and end times for our Adult Dogs Responsible Dog Ownership (RDO) Course and Puppy Classes will be brought forward an hour earlier than usual.

These changes will also affect registration/joiner times and Activity Class and are effective from Sunday 19th February.

Next Training Date

Sunday 4th February 2018

Following the Club's season-ending Fun Day on 3rd December, our Helpers and Instructors are now having a well-earned break for the break festive season and summer holidays.

Training resumes at the Club on Sunday, 4th February 2018, which will be a Puppy Joiner our 6-week Puppy Classes (for dogs aged under 6 months). Our first Adult Dog Joiner for 2018 for the Club's Responsible Dog Ownership Course (for dogs 6 months and older) will be on Sunday, 11th February.

Note: Due to the summer heat and humidity, Training and Registration start times are scheduled earlier from the 4th February until the end of Daylight Saving - please see the Training Times page on the Club website for details.
